Healthy boundaries at Gwinganna

At Gwinganna Lifestyle Retreat, your health and wellbeing is our top priority.

A visit to Gwinganna is a commitment to respect our philosophy so we can help re-evaluate lifestyle habits that do not foster wellness, energy and calmness. As such, we restrict guests from bringing or consuming cigarettes, e cigarettes/vapes, drugs, food, caffeinated drinks or alcohol anywhere on the property.

Further, Gwinganna is not a medical facility and reserves the right to refuse to check in any persons who are intoxicated or who have undisclosed drug or alcohol addiction. Failure to comply will result in the entire booking being cancelled without refund.

For everyone’s safety and well-being, including your own, we recommend consulting your healthcare provider or local health authorities if you feel unwell or have concerns about travelling.

Guests who require medications, including an EpiPen, must ensure these are brought, maintained, and used according to their healthcare provider’s instructions.

In emergencies, the nearest hospital is approximately 30 minutes away. Ambulance services will be called if hospital transport is necessary.

Our property includes uneven terrain. Guests must be physically able to navigate the retreat on foot.

Deposits & Payments

A deposit of 20% is required to secure a reservation, full payment is due 30 days prior to the retreat date. 

If you are booking a retreat within 30 days of arrival, full payment is required to secure the reservation.

Payments made via American Express incur a 2.7% fee.

Any additional charges incurred during your stay must be settled before departure. Valid credit card details are mandatory before check-in.

Cancellation and Postponement Policy

All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. If you need to modify your reservation, the following fees apply:

Postponement more than 14 days before arrival: A fee of $100 per person, per package.

Postponement within 14 days of arrival: A fee equal to 50% of the total package cost.

Postponement within 7 days of arrival, non-arrival, or early departure: A fee equal to 100% of the total package cost.

We strongly recommend securing comprehensive travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances that may affect your stay.

Arrival Policy

Our check in time is strictly between 2pm – 4:30pm. Timely arrival ensures full participation in our scheduled programs. We are unable to accommodate late arrivals.

Gift Certificates

Gift Cards are valid for three (3) years from purchase, are non-refundable, and transferable to another individual. 

Treatments and Spa Services 

Treatments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a 100% charge. You may change or cancel treatments providing you notify a Spa Bookings Advisor by 11:30am the day prior. 

To ensure the safety of mother and child, we do not perform massages in the first trimmest of pregnancy. More options are available from the second trimester onwards, but some treatments are unsuitable for the duration of pregnancy. 

Valuables

Valuables can be stored in your room safe. However, Gwinganna does not take responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.
